Who doesn’t love the classics? Both balanced and incredibly smooth, our classic sour is the perfect sipper for National Whiskey Sour Day. While egg whites do not affect the drink’s flavor, they do help to create a smoother and frothy cocktail. Egg whites not your thing? No biggie. You can leave them out.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey

  • 3/4 oz. simple syrup

  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1 egg white

  • Dashes of Angostura bitters

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients, except the bitters, to a cocktail shaker

  2. Dry shake without ice for 20 seconds

  3. Add ice and shake for 10 - 15 seconds

  4. Double strain into a coupe glass

  5. Dash Angostura bitters on the cocktail

  6. Serve
