Did you know that nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 71 men are victims of rape (via NSVRC)? We’re teaming up with WOAR — Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence to combat sexual violence and promote a culture of respect, safety & support for all in the hospitality industry.

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) defines sexual violence as “any type of unwanted sexual contact, ranging from sexist attitudes and actions to rape and murder”. While alcohol does not cause sexual assault, several research studies show that it can be a major contributing factor. To tackle sexual violence on all fronts, we’re hosting an Instagram Live on Monday, June 29 at 6PM EST to discuss the importance of sexual violence prevention in the hospitality industry, the importance of responsible alcohol use, and what bartenders can do to help keep our guests safe. This drink is served in a highball or double old fashioned glass.

Recipe Type: Cocktails

Glassware: Highball, Double Old Fashioned or Coupe

Servings: 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. blue Curaçao

  • 1/2 oz. coconut Matcha tea

  • 1/2 oz. pineapple juice

  • 1/2 oz. lime juice

  • 1/2 oz. ginger syrup

  • Optional: Club soda

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients except club soda to a cocktail shaker

  2. Add ice and shake for 20 seconds until shaker is frosty on the outside

  3. Strain into a highball or double old fashioned glass

  4. Fill with club soda

  5. Serve

*If opting to not use club soda, you can serve in a coupe glass
