Beet Syrup

Sweet, earthy and undeniably delicious, this homemade beet syrup is your next go-to sweetener for all of your cocktail needs.


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium-sized beets, peeled and diced

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 2 cups sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare the beet syrup by first cutting off the beet leaves, rinsing and then drying the beets. Then proceed to peel and dice them

  2. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan

  3. Bring mixture to a boil

  4. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes

  5. Remove from heat and let syrup cool completely before use
