Sour Patch

ABOUT

Happy National Watermelon Day! We’re celebrating with our low ABV version of a childhood favorite — while using all natural ingredients.

Who doesn’t love watermelon Sour Patch Kids? This drink starts off sweet and ends with a subtle sour finish. Best of all, it’s low ABV and can easily be made nonalocholic. You only have to swap out the cucumber vodka with cucumber infused water.

This drink gets its sweet and juicy flavors from the fresh watermelon juice and simple syrup. It gets its base sour flavor from freshly squeezed lemon juice. We were able to give this drink an extra level of tartness by adding in tartaric acid — an organic acid that can be found in most fruits (bananas, grapes, etc.). Tartaric acid is also used in the Sour Patch Kids recipe.

This drink is served in a coupe glass.
