Have you ever taken a sip of a cocktail and it instantly made you smile inside? If not, our Could Nine will certainly do the trick. This rich, decadent after dinner cocktail is sure to satisfy your taste buds and induce a state of total bliss.

Our inspiration for our Cloud Nine is none other than a strawberry shortcake. To help bring this concoction to life, we started off by making a homemade strawberry syrup with fresh strawberries and rich simple syrup. Next up, we needed a spirit that would compliment rather than overpower the cocktail. We decided to use two: our banana infused Naked Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky and Disaronno Originale Amaretto. Lastly, to ensure that cocktail was full bodied and maintained its richness, we used condensed milk as our cream. Condensed milk not only ensures that you drinks remains smooth and creamy, but it also adds an additional layer of sweetness.

This drink is served in a coupe or cocktail glass. A strawberry garnish is optional.

INGREDIENTS

• 1/2 oz. banana infused Naked Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky

• 1/2 oz. Disaronno Originale Amaretto

• 1 oz. rich simple syrup

• 4 -5 ripe strawberries

• 1 oz. condensed milk

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the strawberry syrup by adding rich simple syrup and strawberries to a cocktail shaker

2. Muddle well

3. Add remaining ingredients

4. Dry shake without ice for 30 seconds

5. Add ice to shaker and shake for 15 to 20 seconds or until shaker is frosty on the outside

6. Double strain into a coupe or cocktail glass with a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer

7. Serve
